What factors will affect the price of profiled steel sheet in China?

     "What is the price of roof profiled steel sheet?" "How do you sell roof panels ?" Whenever a customer asks such a question, it is difficult to answer it, because there are many factors that affect the price, let me take you to learn about them.

     First of all, let me explain to you what is the profiled steel sheet. It is a new type of steel construction material which made of colored steel by pressing machine.  

    The profiled steel plates are generally thin and have the strength and ductility characteristics of steel. They can be made to various shapes to meet installation requests. After the profiled steel plates are pressed into various models, their physical properties, especially compression resistance, will be greatly improved.

     1. Raw material manufacturers.

      The quality of color steel is closely related to the anti-corrosion layer (galvanized aluminum layer), paint, and production technology. The quality of color-coated coils produced by different manufacturers is different, and the service life is also different. This is why there are different prices for colored steel that looks the same. 　2. The thickness of the pre-painted coil

    The thickness of the color-coated coil is an important factor affecting the price of profiled steel sheet. The thickness of the color-coated coil affects the amount of raw materials used in the production process of the product, thereby affecting the price of profiled steel sheet. The following is a brief introduction to the normal thickness of the color-coated rolls used by our company is 0.3-0.7mm, and the length is 1000-12000mm. 

   3. Different fabrication way and construction methods 

    3.1 Due to different fabrication, construction, and installation methods, the shape of profiled sheet sheets used on site are different.

    3.2 Different fabrication methods and sheet types request different waterproof and anti-corrosion effects of the profiled steel sheet.

    For example, some profiled steel sheets need to be punched during installation. Though some waterproof materials will be used in the subsequent construction, the installation is not in place or the waterproof materials are not enough, water leakage will still occur,so you’d better use a panel with 360° vertical lock seam system to solve this problem. 

   4. The using place affects the price of the profiled steel sheets

    There are many types of color coating for color steel plates, which are mainly designed for different regions, environments, and uses. The coating of profiled steel sheet which used in the dry desert area and the coastal humid area, acid-base salt area and ordinary area, chemically corrosive environment and general environment must be different, so the price of the profiled steel sheet will be different. The coating is better, the panel life time will last longer.
